<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Bhubaneswar:</strong> The partial lockdown will continue in Odisha till July 16 to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. State Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra gave this information on Wednesday. He said that there will be no weekends shutdown in 20 districts of the state which have a positivity rate of less than 5%. Only night curfew will continue in these districts from 6 PM to 6 AM.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Along with this, he told that shops will be allowed to open according to the Covid-19 guidelines from 6 AM to 6 PM. Malls and beauty parlours will not open but salons have been allowed to operate. Public transport will be operational but they have to ply with sitting capacity only.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Suresh Chandra Mohapatra said that the closure and night curfew will continue on weekends in 10 districts of the state where the positivity rate of the Covid-19 virus is more than 5%. Shops will open in these 10 districts but their time limit will be from 6 AM to 2 PM. Malls and parlours will remain closed here too and weekly markets are not allowed to open.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Covid-19 Situation in Odisha</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">With the death of 48 more patients due to the Covid-19 virus in Odisha, the total number of dead crossed 4,000 on Wednesday. The death figures in the state are the highest number of any single day. An official of the Health Department gave this information.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The official said that with the arrival of at least 3,371 new cases of infection, the total number of infected people increased to 9,09,800.
