BREAKING | India's Daily Covid Cases Remain Below 50K, Recovery Rate Improves To 96.97%

<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> In the last 24 hours, India reports 48,786 new cases whereas 61,588 patients recovered during the last 24 hours bringing the active caseload to 5,23,257. For the 49th consecutive day, daily recoveries outnumber the new cases recorded, which is a huge relief. The recovery rate has increased to 96.97%.</p> <p>The weekly positivity rate remains below 5%, currently at 2.64% meanwhile, the daily positivity rate at 2.54%, less than 5% for 24 consecutive days.
