<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> After being remanded to six days in police custody, Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar spent his birthday in lockup at the Chhatrasal Stadium on Wednesday in connection with the murder of a wrestler.&nbsp;</p> <p>The police said that he remain quiet the entire day. Speaking about the interrogation of Kumar, the official said the wrestler comes up with new stories every day and keeps changing his statements said a PTI report. Under the custody of Delhi's crime branch, they sought psychiatric evaluation of Kumar as he wasn't cooperating with the investigation. Psychiatrists were brought in with the officers while questioning Kumar.&nbsp;</p> <p>According to the sources, Sushil was calculating all of his answers and was being very careful. Sources also revealed that psychiatrists deemed Kumar mentally stable and said that is trying to deflect the questions to disrupt the investigation.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Four associates captured&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>According to a PTI report, on Wednesday morning, Kumar's four associates who were involved in the alleged property dispute case that led to the death of the 23-year-old wrestler Sagar, were arrested by the Rohini district police and handed over to the crime branch. The accused were identified as Bhupender (38), Mohit (22), Gulab (24), residents of Haryana's Jhajjar district, and Manjeet (29), a native of Rohtak district. They are active members of the Kala Asauda and Neeraj Bawana gangs and were arrested from Delhi's Kanjhawala area on Tuesday night.</p> <p>The report stated that the Delhi Police has lodged an FIR in the case under sections 302 (murder), 308 (culpable homicide), 365 (kidnapping), 325 (causing grievous hurt), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restraint) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The FIR was also registered under sections 188 (disobedience to order by public servant), 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease), 120B (criminal conspiracy), and 34 (common intention) of the IPC and various sections of the Arms Act.</p> <p><strong>Kumar's mother's plea against media trial</strong></p> <p>A plea to restrain the media from 'sensationalizing' the trial of the wrestler and seeking rules for reporting criminal cases, was mentioned on Thursday before the Delhi High Court which agreed to hear it on May 28th. The petition which was filed by Kumar's mother was mentioned before a bench of Chief Justice D N Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh which allowed it to be listed for hearing on Friday.&nbsp;</p> <p>Kumar and his associates allegedly assaulted wrestler Sagar Dhankar and his friends. While Sagar died, two of his friends got injured on May 4th night, at the Chhatrasal Stadium premises in the national capital.</p>
