ABP News Conclave: 'People First Approach Kept Us Going', Says Zydus Wellness CEO Tarun Arora

<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> Chief Executive Officer of Zydus Wellness, Tarun Arora in an exclusive interview with ABP News talked about the challenges faced by the company and how they tackled it. He said that their main goal was to keep people associated with the company safe and healthy.</p> <p>'We had a 'people-first approach', we knew that people are our biggest asset and in order to be responsible corporate we had to all work together that means we had to keep everyone associated with the company protect, not just ourselves.'</p> <p><strong>ALSO READ: <span style="color: #f80707;"><a style="color: #f80707;" href="https://ift.tt/3uEChYr News Conclave: IPG Media Brands CEO Share Strategies To Keep Workers Motivated During Pandemic</a></span></strong></p> <p>He talked about one of the basic measures the company took to protect its employees by providing them insurances and further financial aid as these were challenging times, aside from which Zydus had to change its SOPs overnight to make sure everyone was safe.</p> <p>"In Aligarh plant, we have about 25000 dairy famers who provide them milk for their products, but due to the lockdown many milk factories shut down as the demand reduced but Zydus decided convert the milk into other products to keep them going".</p> <p>He further talked about a centralised Zydus hospital which made sure any of their employee anywhere in the country had access to necessary medicine in case they were infected by the virus.</p> <p>Talking about one of the biggest challenges face by the company Arora said that it was ensuring the safety of people and logistics.</p> <p>Elaborating on the logistics he said in part of the countries were our distributors couldn't reached we partnered with third party logistics company to ensure that essential products like artificial sweeteners for adults and health drinks for children reached shops on time.&nbsp;</p>
