Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Reviews Covid Vaccine Situation As Health Minister Says 'Don't Have Doses'

<p><strong>New Delhi:&nbsp;</strong> Talking about the third phase of the nationwide Covid vaccination drive, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Thursday said that there were no vaccines in the National Capital as of now.</p> <p>"We don't have vaccines as of now. We have made requests to the company regarding vaccines, we will tell you when it comes," he told news agency ANI.&nbsp;</p> <p>The third phase of Coronavirus inoculation will cover all adults between the ages of 18 and 45. We have made requests to the company regarding vaccines".</p> <p>He added that the situation was becoming hopeful because "vaccine positivity reached 35 percent 4 days ago". "It appears that cases are beginning to decline in Delhi," he said.</p> <p>Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with officials today to review the situation of Covid-19 vaccines in Delhi. We have given more than 16 crore doses of vaccines to states out of which more than 15 crores doses have been administered".</p> <p>"That means over 1 crore doses are still left with states. Some lakh doses are in pipeline and will be delivered in the next 2-3 days. Since the beginning of vaccination, not a single day has passed when states were not given vaccine doses as per their capacity," he added.</p> <p>Another issue that the national capital is grappling with is medical oxygen supply. Delhi High Court has issued notice to all oxygen suppliers of the national capital asking them to be present before the court with detailed data on supplies made by them to hospitals.</p>
