<p><strong>Malda:</strong> Launching a frontal attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) government in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday alleged there is anarchy in the state at the present courtesy unemployment, poverty and suffering. “There is anarchy in Bengal at the present. There is poverty and suffering in Bengal. The power sponsored terrorism here today is also challenging the country’s security,” Adityanath said.</p> <p>“Durga puja gets prohibited in Bengal today, cow slaughter is forcefully started during Eid. The people’s sentiments are toyed with through cow smuggling. You can see the condition of that government now. Now, it is the TMC government’s turn in Bengal,” the BJP leader said. </p> <p>Adityanath also used the occasion to highlight the law brought in by his government against the alleged practice of “love jihad”. “The incidents of love jihad are being increased. We have made a law on this in UP,” he said.</p> <p>"Love jihad is being executed here. We made a law in UP. But there is appeasement politics here. So state govt is unable to stop cow smuggling and love jihad - dangerous activities that will show results in the time to come," UP CM said.</p> <p>The UP CM also alleged the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government in West Bengal “is with the infiltrators". Escalating his attack on the TMC, Adityanath said the TMC goons want to hurt the people of Bengal by looting the mines in the state. The youth of UP used to come to Bengal earlier for employment opportunities but now the youth of Bengal go to UP and Delhi for employment,” he said.</p> <p>The Election Commission has announced eight-phase election schedule for the 294-seat West Bengal Assembly beginning March 27 and ending on April 29. The counting of votes will be done on May 2.</p>
