<p><strong>Mumbai:</strong> National Congress Party Mumbai president Nawab Malik on Sunday denied any "deal" between Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah and NCP Chief Sharad Pawar. He also alleged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is "spreading rumours." There has been speculation in political circles that Amit Shah met Sharad Pawar and Praful Patel on Saturday.</p> <p>Malik was quoted by ANI as saying, "A newspaper in Gujarat published a piece of news that (Sharad) Pawar Sahib and Praful Patel met Amit Shah. For the last two days, rumours are being spread on Twitter. Shah's reply has hinted that the meeting might turn significant in the coming days when the Maharashtra government is facing a new crisis as Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut trained guns on Anil Deshmukh claiming in his Saamna editorial that the NCP leader got the Maharashtra Home Minister's chair by accident.&nbsp;</p> <p>In the Shiv Sena mouthpiece column, Raut stated that Anil Deshmukh accidentally got the post of Home Minister. He further questioned how Deshmukh could be unaware of Sachin Vaze doing &ldquo;vasooli&rdquo; while sitting in Mumbai Police Commissioner&rsquo;s office.
