<p>Twitter has blocked at least 250 accounts, including of the Kisan Ekta Morcha, after the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology ordered the social media platform to block those spreading misinformation and using the offensive hashtag.&nbsp;</p> <p>Earlier on Saturday, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act asked Twitter to block the accounts using #ModiPlanningFarmerGenocide hashtag and making fake, intimidatory and provocative tweets.
