<p><strong>State Assembly Polls:</strong> Aam Aadmi Party will be contesting elections in six states in the next 2 years, said party&rsquo;s convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday. Making the huge electoral announcement, Kejriwal had then said that the development of Uttar Pradesh has been held back by dirty politics and corrupt leaders there.</p> <p>The crucial legislative assembly elections in the politically volatile state of Uttar Pradesh is slated to take place &nbsp;in the month of February or March 2022 to elect 403 members of the state assembly. The term of current assembly elected in 2017 will expire on 14 March 2022.</p>
